Chitosan - Supports Normal Cholesterol Levels

Chitosan is a naturally occurring polysaccharide derived from chitin, which is found in the shells of crustaceans such as crabs and shrimp. It is commonly used in dietary supplements to support health. One of the main properties of chitosan is its ability to help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.

The positive effect of chitosan occurs with a daily intake of 3 g of chitosan. This can help keep blood cholesterol levels within the normal range, which in turn may reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
